The times

Lots of transition! Stanford medical scribe works starts June 12 and it's looking very likely we'll be in San Francisco by May 24(ish). My academics are pretty much planned out so that I can sit the MCAT in early 2028 and apply to MD programs. In-person prereqs start mid-June in the evenings for me, too!

I resigned from Apple back in February and I've been working as a nurse assistant ever since, right here in Truckee. The Tahoe Forest hospital system is amazing and it's really reaffirmed that I love the pace of healthcare and want to join this field.

they are a-changin'

I'm currently working through Intro to Organic Chemistry at Berkeley (remote) and CS106A at Stanford (also remote). Can you believe I've never really taken a Python 101 formal class? I didn't even know what a doctest was. I'm excited to beef up my data science skills for biomedical applications while also chipping away at pre-reqs. I'm really hoping to dive into some research work either at Stanford (through scribing) or UCSF (through research coordinator positions) too.

Besides that, watching a bunch of ER, packing up the house while doing some serious Marie-Kondo-ing, and getting intrigued by road cycling in SF now that I actually have some bike handling skills!
